I am a graphic designer/art director with more than 20 years experience. My clients range from start-ups to small businesses to some of the best-known brands in the world. Throughout my career I have collaborated with diverse clients and teams, giving me a greater understanding of multiple industries, approaches, and strategies. With each collaboration, I provide clients access to new technology, materials, and resources through a seamless process — consistently exceeding expectations by delivering creative solutions, on-time, on-budget across all project mediums.

My background includes branding, print, environment, and web design, as well as project management. I have worked as a consultant for an array of clients in Chicago and New York as well as across the country. My design approach creates focused, modern, and aspirational concepts and visuals. I have extensive skills in environmental design specifications, architectural coordination, and fabrication processes.

Chicago is where I call home. I live with my husband and our rescue dog, Luca.

Process

The steps below represent the complete process, which is customized per client, initiative, and budget.

RESEARCH
Information allows me to work with a high level of creativity and efficiency. I make sure to ask as many questions as possible regardless of the size of a client or the respective project. I gather information on the strengths and weaknesses of each client in the marketplace, general information about the client’s industry, and information about competitors and best practices.

EXPLORE AND DEFINE STRATEGY
I work with my clients to define the best approach for their project paying close attention to components and processes. I develop a schedule and outline the responsibilities of the client as well my own. Often, this requires considering (and reconsidering) budget constraints and objectives.

DESIGN CONCEPTS
I provide each client with two to four visual explorations, based on the strategy defined. Within each project, each concept will typically be unique from one another, thus providing the client with a wide range of styles from which to choose.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Based on client input/feedback, the selected design concept is refined and further developed. I cross every ‘t’ and dot every ‘i’ to ensure a smooth process and to generate accurate quotes from subcontractors, when additional services are necessary.

IMPLEMENTATION AND COORDINATION
I offer my clients the option to coordinate with all subcontractors and vendors themselves, or to have me coordinate and maintain quality control of all deliverables.
